How Christmas light installation works

Seven steps, from your first call to next year's re-booking.

  1. Free quote

Call, text or send the form. A photo of the front of the house, plus how tall it is and how steep the roof is, is enough to give you a ballpark. We measure the roofline for the firm number.

  2. Design

We agree on what to light: roofline only, or trees, wreaths and walkways too. You approve the plan and the price.

  3. Install date

We book you in. Booking is open now through early December, and early bookings qualify for the early-booking offer.

  4. Install

We bring our own ladders and equipment, hang the lights, test every run and clean up.

  5. In-season maintenance

If a section goes out between install and the new year, call us and we repair it.

  6. Takedown

After the holidays we take everything down.

  7. Storage and re-booking

We store the lights. Next season, your house is already measured, so the quote is quick.

The season at a glance

Booking runs now through early December. Lights go up on the install date we agree on and stay on through the holidays. Takedown comes after, in January. Questions about timing? Read the FAQ or call us.

Questions about the process

Is it too late to book after Thanksgiving?

Booking stays open through early December, and dates fill up as the holidays get closer. The 20% early-booking discount ends October 25th, so earlier is better.

What does in-season maintenance cover?

If a section of lights goes out after install, call us and we come out and repair it. It is part of the service.

How do I schedule an install date?

Request a quote, approve the plan and price, and we book you into an install window. Call or text if you want a specific week.

Do you come back next year to hang the lights again?

Yes. We store your lights and keep your measurements, so you re-book and we put them back up.

What do you need from me to give a quote?

Your address and, ideally, a photo of the front of the house, plus roughly how tall the house is and how steep the roof is. We measure the roofline to confirm the firm price.
