What we light on a house
Most homes start with the roofline: the ridge, the eaves and the gable peaks, clipped on with no staples or nails in your trim. From there you can add what suits the house.
- Gutters and fascia
- Window outlines and window wreaths
- Trees and shrubs, wrapped or outlined
- Wreaths and garland on doors, porches and columns
- Walkway and driveway edging
Older Norcross homes, including the ones near the historic district, often have more trim, steeper gables and detail worth outlining. Newer subdivision homes tend to have long, clean rooflines. Either way, we measure before we quote.

What a typical home install includes
You get a quote based on your roofline footage, the height of the house and how steep the roof is. On install day we bring our own ladders and equipment, hang the lights, test every run and clean up after ourselves.
If a section goes out in the season, call us and we repair it. After the holidays we take everything down and store it for next year. Pricing starts around $8 to $12+ per linear foot for the roofline.

Residential questions
What parts of my house can you light?
Rooflines, gutters, windows, porch columns, doors, trees, shrubs and walkway edges. Most homeowners start with the roofline and add from there.
Can you light just the front of my house?
Yes. Many roofs can be lit in sections, so you can start with the front elevation and add the sides or back next year. The price follows the footage you choose.
Do you hang wreaths and garland as well?
Yes. Wreaths on windows and doors and garland on porch rails and columns can be part of the same visit. We price them once we know how many pieces and where they go.
Will the lights show up on a dark brick or stone house?
Warm white lights stand out well against brick and stone, and our gallery has several examples. Send us a photo of your house and we will tell you what we would light first.
What if only one section of lights goes out?
Call us. In-season maintenance is part of the service, and we come out and repair the section.
Do you install Christmas lights on older homes with detailed trim?
Yes. We clip the lights to the roofline and trim rather than staple or nail them. Older Norcross homes often have more detail worth outlining, and we plan around it when we measure.
